Paris

Well, I and many of the other AIFS students are leaving tomorrow morning for our Paris weekend trip. We'll be taken by bus from Gloucester Road all the way to Waterloo International station. There we will board the Eurostar train that will go through the Chunnel to Paris.

On the itinerary we're going to have a bus tour of the city and free entrance to the Louvre. Then we'll have time to explore the city on our own. However, we will have to check in at certain points with AIFS tour guide, who will probably be one of the Resident Assistants here.

I can't wait until tomorrow. It's going to be loads of fun. When I come back on Sunday I will let you know of everything I did. Au revoir!

Duggan: You can't hang a fake Mona Lisa in the Louvre.
Romana: How can it be a fake if Leonardo painted it?
Duggan: With the words "this is a fake" written under the paintwork? In felt tip?
Romana: It doesn't affect what it looks like.
Duggan:It doesn't matter what it looks like!
Doctor: Doesn't it? Some people would say that's the whole point of painting.
Duggan: But they'll find out. They'll x-ray it.
Doctor: Serves them right. If they have to x-ray it to find out if it's good art, we might as well have painting by computers

Romana: Why hasn't she got any eyebrows?
The Doctor: What, is that all you can say, no eyebrows? We're talking about the Mona Lisa - it's the Mona ... you know, you're right, she hasn't got any eyebrows.

It's true everyone - The Mona Lisa does not have any eyebrows!

In bygone days people quoted Shakespeare and other great authors. Today, at least in my family, they quote Dr. Who!

But you have to admit it is classic! Classic of sorts.
